I'm a photographer in the Indianapolis area. I tell long-winded spoken stories on accident, have several tattoos, and often perform impromptu comedy skits for my beautiful fiancée Mary and our curious Boston Terrier puppy Albert. I write and produce microbudget cinema for Juncture Film, I ran a local recycling company with Mary, I sometimes blog about sports and social statistics and opinion, and I'm developing a cultural podcast with my cousin and a lifestyle furniture startup.
My philosophy is that the truest, most valuable moments are unplanned and spontaneous, not posed or staged. To be prepared for them and capable of capturing them in a way that upholds and compliments their significance is the photographer's vital task. The moments produce the images, not the opposite.
